our theme was "micro vs. macro;" i thought an image of a higher intelligence being watching one considered to be lesser to be a fun exploration of this prompt. we were instructed to submit three final variation prints (i did 4, whoops) and another variation with 4 editions, exploring the four color print process and transparency.

for our first assignment, we were given the prompt "daily observations," and instructed to submit 4 variation prints. february was coming around, so i thought it'd be fun to do my first project on bug love, exploring how the mating ritual of mantises is rather macabre through a silly amalgam of cute vector art and creepy photo manipulation.
